The weekend series is here, and brings with it the New York Yankees, with Aaron Judge fresh off clobbering his 300th career home run, and the Bronx Bombers hungry for the postseason, it was going to be a challenging series for the Tigers.
They were depending on another bullpen game up against Gerrit Cole, which is certainly a choice (but not much you can do when you’ve sold half your pitching).
