We all know that when starting a new job, it can take some time to get to know everyone's names.
So, three Detroit Tigers pitchers gave new manager Ron Gardenhire a bit of an initiation Monday during the team's first full-squad practice.
Starting pitchers Jordan Zimmermann and Michael Fulmer, along with reliever Alex Wilson, all had the names on the back of their uniforms changed to "Buddy."
"If I call you, 'hey buddy,' then I probably don't know your name.
