LAKELAND, Fla. — Riley Greene, with a straight face, said he couldn’t sense the excitement Detroit Tigers fans have over his performance in spring training.
It's the same excitement that brought Tigers president and CEO Christopher Ilitch 1,100 miles to Florida recently to see how his top investment is looking.
“No, not really,” Greene said Sunday. “I’m just playing my game and not really thinking about it.”
That’s not to say he has deleted every social media app and successfully managed an internet-wide blockade on all news of himself.
