Shane Greene worked 7 1/3 shutout innings in his first minor league start of the season, but the Mud Hens blew a 2-0 lead in the ninth inning and lost in extra innings. Greene was as sharp as anyone could hope for after his demotion, allowing just four hits and a walk, though he only struck out one batter. The bullpen was not, though. Alberto Cabrera blew his third save of the year in the ninth, allowing two runs on three hits. Angel Nesbitt took the loss in the 10th after making an error on a sacrifice bunt attempt.
