SEATTLE -- Less than 24 hours after his worst outing of an otherwise stellar season, Detroit Tigers reliever Shane Greene has a new look.
Greene's once-long locks of hair and faux-hawk style are gone.
"I got in a fight with a razor," he said Thursday.
The razor won in a knockout, leaving Greene bald.
Greene gave up four runs in an inning of relief Wednesday night in the Tigers' 7-5 loss to the Seattle Mariners at Safeco Field. He entered the game with a 1.64 ERA in 33 innings and had been the Tigers' most reliable reliever.
