A major top 100 preseason prospect list came out on Tuesday as Baseball Prospectus’ top 101 prospects for 2025 was released. We tend to place Baseball America, Baseball Prospectus, and FanGraphs above the rest of the national prospect rankings, although there are a few other good ones as well, including MLB Pipeline.
Baseball Prospectus has seven young Tigers’ ranked in the top 101 prospects in the game. Only the Tampa Bay Rays placed more prospects on the list, with nine total. Prospectus has Boston Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony ranked as the top prospect in the game.
