LAKELAND, Fla. — A series of scary things happened to the Detroit Tigers on Saturday afternoon.
A jagged, broken bat nearly hit one of the Tigers. A line drive hit a pitcher.
But the most frightening of all happened when a foul ball went screaming into the Tigers’ dugout and struck outfielder Jacob Robson in the face.
Robson, a non-roster invitee, has been placed in concussion protocol and is expected to miss a week.
