OAKLAND, Calif. – It wasn’t pretty and it wasn’t easy and it didn’t quell any of the Detroit Tigers’ concerns about Jordan Zimmermann. It should have been a second straight win to open a lengthy West Coast trip, but Francisco Rodriguez couldn’t get the job done.
On a night in which the Tigers left too many men on the bases and Zimmermann let too many balls in the air, the offense was once again good enough, the bullpen once again solid but Rodriguez blew his third save of the season and they lost, 6-5.
Adam Rosales hit a two-run single for the walk-off win.
