Greg Holland's cut fastball has helped him to a major league-leading 33 saves with the Colorado Rockies.
His latest cutter kept him from entering his team's latest game.
The Rockies closer injured himself in a kitchen accident, cutting himself on his right hand. He's not expected to miss much time, but tried to warm up Tuesday night and it didn't feel right.
"He cut his index finger on his throwing hand," manager Bud Black told reporters. "It's really day to day. We'll see how it progresses the next five or six hours. "He gave it a shot (Tuesday night).
