Monday was a sad day for Detroit Tigers fans everywhere as Al Kaline died at his Bloomfield Hills home at 85.
But it's also a time for rememberance as "Mr. Tiger" brightened the lives of countless Detroiters over nearly 70 years in the Tigers organization, from his start as a teenager in the early 1950s to his run behind the mic in the 1970s and '80s to his time as the elder statesman of the franchise this century.
