The Tigers' second-half turnaround last summer gained steam with a series sweep in Boston at the end of July. If they're going to make another midseason push in the American League Central race, this weekend's three-game series at Fenway Park looms large. On the other hand, the Red Sox are on a roll of their own, making a push for the AL East lead. With a five-game homestand against the Tigers and Phillies as their only home games in a 3 1/2-week stretch of May and June, they need to make the most of it.
