Recap: Tigers can't catch Indians for 1st, fall 6-0

Remember this day if it doesn't come around again in 2018.

The Tigers had a chance to tie the Cleveland Indians for first place in the AL Central by completing a three-game sweep at Comerica Park, but Trevor Bauer had his way with Tigers hitters and the Tribe cruised to a 6-0 win in the series finale.

Bauer (3-3, 2.59 ERA) was perfect through the first four innings of the game before Niko Goodrum ended that run with a single to right field to start the fifth. Those good vibes didn't last long, though, as John Hicks grounded into a double play and any thought of a rally was squashed.
