The Detroit Tigers came back from an early 5-0 deficit to tie the score twice, but ultimately fell in extra innings to the Tampa Bay Rays. The bullpen put together a valiant effort after Francisco Liriano was knocked after 2 1⁄3 innings, but the offense couldn’t push across just one more run when it mattered. Nicholas Castellanos led the way with three hits and three runs scored, while Niko Goodrum drove in a team-high three RBI.
We need a bit more time to digest this one.
