Ryan Carpenter was more efficient on Monday than in his last outing, but the results were just as poor. Carpenter allowed a run in the third, and then a three-run fourth inning that opened the game up. The lefty hung in there through six innings, but was sent out in the seventh inning, allowed two quick singles, and was replaced by Sandy Baez, who immediately imploded to allow both to score. The Indians went on to score four in the frame, and this one was all over by that point. Daz Camerson doubled, while shortstop Willi Castro added a triple, but the Hens just couldn’t put a rally together on Monday night.
