Prospects acquired in Tigers' trade with Cubs enter team's top 10

DETROIT - The prospects received in the Tigers deal with the Chicago Cubs are both ranked in the top 10 of MLB Pipeline's listing of Detroit's top prospects.

The Tigers traded left-handed reliever Justin Wilson and catcher Alex Avila to Chicago for minor-league infielders Jeimer Candelario and Isaac Paredes and a player to be named later or cash.

The home of MLB's draft and prospect coverage ranks Candelario, a Dominican-born infielder who was the Cubs top prospect, as the No. 3 prospect in the Tigers organization.
