Detroit — On May 13 in Anaheim, Daniel Norris pitched a strong 5u2154 innings against the Angels on a night the Tigers won at the Big A for the first time since 2010.
“I wouldn't change anything if it’s working,” manager Brad Ausmus said before the game Tuesday. “If the approach that worked last time suddenly seems to be less effective, you might have to adjust. But, generally speaking, if it’s not broken — don’t fix it.”
Turns out, it was a little bit broken and it couldn’t be fixed, at least not in time to prevent a 5-3 Angels win and the end of the Tigers’ four-game winning streak.
