No hard feelings or serious injuries day after outfield collision

DETROIT -- Detroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias and outfielder Victor Reyes were chatting amicably in Spanish Monday morning in the team clubhouse.

The last time they had met -- in a fifth inning collision on Sunday night -- Reyes was bleeding from a sliced arm and Iglesias was so angry that he slung the baseball into the seats.

But a day later, all appears well, although neither are in Monday's lineup.

Reyes, who received eight stitches after his right forearm was spiked, insisted that he's fine and could play today.

Gardenhire said he'll get the day off anyway, just to give the stitches another day to do their work.
