Zimmermann allows seven runs for the third straight start; Tigers lose for 14th time in 17 games
Jordan Zimmermann wasn’t good on Wednesday night like he wasn’t good his last start or the start before that.
In a trend that must be terribly concerning for the Detroit Tigers' front office, Zimmermann was once again knocked around with ease, beaten up badly by the Yankees in another blowout loss at Comerica Park.
Zimmermann allowed seven runs over five innings as the Tigers lost, 10-2. They have been outscored 22-5 in the first two games of a three-game set against the New York Yankees.
