It’s Christmas Eve. The streets are jam-packed with last-minute shoppers, Meijer closes at 7 p.m., and you’re in desperate need of a last-second gift option for the Detroit Tigers fans in your life.
Lucky for you, the Detroit Baseball Dinner is right around the corner. And all it takes is a phone call or e-mail to reserve your spot.
The 19th annual dinner – a night of baseball conversation, celebration and entertainment – will be 6 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Detroit Athletic Club.
More on Tigers:
Tigers special assistant Lance Parrish, a key cog on the 1984 World Series championship team who spent the first 10 yeas of his career in Detroit and the past five seasons as a manager in the organization’s minor leagues, will receive the Tigers Legend Award, presented by the Detroit Baseball Society.
