The Detroit Tigers continued paring their 40-man roster on Friday, waiving four more players.
Right-handed pitcher Myles Jaye, left-hander Kyle Ryan, catcher Bryan Holaday and first baseman Efren Navarro cleared waivers and were sent outright to Triple-A Toledo.
All four will become free agents shortly. Jaye and Ryan are eligible for minor-league free agency next week, while Holaday and Navarro have the right to decline their minor-league assignment.
The Tigers waived five players earlier this week. Outfielders Alex Presley, Jim Adduci and Tyler Collins and pitcher Jeff Ferrell will be free agents.
