DUNEDIN, Fla. -- It was a whirlwind final inning for the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday.
Dominic Ficociello gave the igers a two-run lead with a three-run home run in the top of the ninth. But Angel Nesbitt surrendered a walk-off three-run home run with one out in the bottom of the inning, resulting in a 5-4 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium.
Troy native Jon Berti and Mike Ohlman singled for the Blue Jays. With one out, Shane Opitz hit an 0-1 pitch over the fence in rightfield for the win.
