DETROIT -- Fans attending Tigers games at Comerica Park in 2019 will show their ticket at the gate with a simple scan of their phone. The team announced on Wednesday it will use mobile ticketing as the primary method of entry for all events at the ballpark.
The team will begin mobile-only ticketing on Saturday with TigerFest. Tickets are still available for the event at $30 for adults or $15 for kids at tigers.com/tigerfest.
Fans can enter the park using the MLB Ballpark app, which allows fans to use their mobile device as a game ticket, producing an on-screen barcode that can be scanned at the gate.
