The Tigers couldn’t deliver another postseason or even another win in their final home game of the regular season. They did, as they have done the last few seasons, offer the jerseys off their backs to lucky fans following a 7-1 loss on Sunday at Comerica Park.
The Tigers drew 33,517 fans for their home finale and 2,726,048 fans for the season – the sixth-highest season attendance in franchise history.
