Lawyers for Miguel Cabrera were in a courtroom in Orlando, Fla., on Friday, trying to shield the Detroit Tigers star's private financial records from the woman who has lodged a paternity suit against him.
They were also expected to argue that further court proceedings -- including a Feb. 12 hearing set for the eve of spring training -- should be closed to the public.
