DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers could have used some of the those surplus runs from Friday night's outburst.
Instead, the Tigers struggled to score Saturday in a 3-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays at Comerica Park.
The loss snapped a brief but encouraging two-game win streak.
Miguel Cabrera hit a home run in the sixth inning to snap a 1-1 tie, but the Rays answered back with two in the seventh. The go-ahead run scored on an infield single by Daniel Robertson that second baseman Ian Kinsler was able to knock down but not field cleanly.
