Cabrera passes Al Kaline and Andres Galarraga on the all-time list with a solo home run in the first inning.
Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera hit the 400th home run of his career Saturday afternoon. The home run moved Cabrera past Andres Galarraga and Tiger great Al Kaline for 52nd on Major League Baseballs' all-time home run list.
In the first inning Cabrera faced seven pitches before launching a towering home run to dead center on the eighth pitch against St. Louis Cardinals left-handed starter, Tyler Lyons. The home run comes on the afternoon after Cabrera had smoked his 399th career home run to straightaway center Friday night.
