BALTIMORE -- Miguel Cabrera's three-run home run in a five-RBI night paced the Tigers' offensive outburst, as the club rebounded from back-to-back shutouts with a 9-5 win over the Orioles on Saturday night at Camden Yards.
Detroit had gone 22 innings without a run since Leonys Martin's fifth-inning home run Wednesday night in Pittsburgh. Once Nicholas Castellanos singled in Jeimer Candelario in Saturday's opening inning, however, Detroit made up the difference against O's starter Andrew Cashner (1-4), with seven runs (six earned) over four innings.
The bulk of that damage came from Cabrera, whose first-inning single advanced Candelario from first to third before Miggy piled up his RBIs.
