HOUSTON -- Miguel Cabrera's timing at the plate appears to be back, just in time for him to take another step into Major League history.
With the Tigers struggling for wins as the season nears its final month, Cabrera has bigger concerns on his mind than individual honors. His three RBIs Sunday not only led a late comeback that went for naught in a 6-5 Astros win, but also earned him the Major League record for RBIs by a Venezuelan-born player.
Like the Venezuelan-born home run record he broke in May, Cabrera passed the great Andres Galarraga, a hero in his home country and one of the great run producers of his time.
