Michael Fulmer's slider is slower (and that's a good thing for Tigers)

LAKELAND, Fla. -- Detroit Tigers ace Michael Fulmer has an arsenal that features a 96 mph fastball, 90 mph slider and an 88 mph change.

Every once in a blue moon, he might drop in a 79 mph curve.

So what was that mystery pitch on Monday that registered at 84 mph on the stadium scoreboard? A slower change? A harder curve?
