Michael Fulmer struggles; Detroit Tigers blow early lead in 11-4 loss to L.A. Angels

Michael Fulmer gave up five runs for the second straight start. His latest outing resulted in the fewest innings he's pitched in a game this season.

Fulmer allowed five runs on nine hits over 4 1/3 innings today against the Los Angeles Angels. The Tigers squandered an early three-run lead and went on to lose, 11-4, at Comerica Park.

After giving up a run on three hits in the first four innings, Fulmer had meltdown in the fifth and gave up the lead. He allowed four runs on six hits and a sac fly before he was replaced by Shane Greene.
