LAKELAND, Fla. — Michael Fulmer was expected to make his next start on Friday on the back fields at Tiger Town.
But those plans have been put on hold indefinitely.
"He took a step back to refine his lower-body mechanics," manager Ron Gardenhire said, reading a prepared statement from a legal pad. "We have no timetable on when he's going to get back on the mound."
When Gardenhire was asked more questions, he grabbed the legal pad and repeated the statement.
