Michael Fulmer healthy but unsatisfied after loss to Rays

DETROIT -- Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said Michael Fulmer looked normal on Saturday, which was true insofar as his stuff, his velocity and his health were concerned.

But Fulmer was still a bit frustrated after the Tigers' 3-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays.

He allowed three runs on six hits and an uncharacteristic four walks in 6 2/3 innings in his first start since receiving a cortisone shot to reduce inflammation in his pitching shoulder.

"I felt fine, but I was a little out of rhythm after eight days off," he said.
