LAKELAND, Fla. — Zac Houston can’t really describe his pitching mechanics.
When he tries, he just keeps coming back to “weird” and “funky” and “it’s just a lot.”
Houston, a big, right-handed reliever known for piling up strikeouts, says the delivery has always been his modus operandi.
“Big and weird,” he said. “I don’t know where it came from. It’s not like I was throwing one day and was like, ‘Let’s just get stupid.
