JUPITER, Fla. -- Tigers catcher James McCann left Saturday's Grapefruit League finale in the fourth inning after being hit on the left hand by the first pitch from Marlins starter Tom Koehler, who was getting in some final work as a reliever.
McCann was taken out of the game for precautionary measures but had full function in the hand, flexing it several times in the dugout. Tim Remes ran for McCann and remained in the game at catcher.
