When Jordan Zimmermann's five-year $110 million deal was announced, most Tigers' fans rejoiced. The Tigers are getting a front-end of the rotation starter for a large sum of money, but kept the length of the deal reasonable. Even though the Tigers landed their top target, Zimmermann's history and peripherals show the great risk the Tigers took in signing him.
