DETROIT -- Outfielder Cameron Maybin and reliever Alex Wilson are migrating north for the final step in their Minor League rehab assignments. The Tigers will transfer their assignments from Class A Advanced Lakeland to Triple-A Toledo, where the Mud Hens open a two-game series against Indianapolis on Tuesday night.
Both are on track to return in mid-April, according to Brad Ausmus. The Tigers' manager said during Spring Training that Maybin wouldn't head to Toledo until he was close to ready to be activated.
Maybin, out since early March recovering from a broken left wrist, went 3-for-13 with two doubles and two walks in Lakeland while alternating between outfield and designated hitter.
