The Express just poured on the offense in this one, and despite a good day at the plate for the Hens as well, a tough go in the middle innings sank them in this one.
Wilkel Hernandez got the start and he had a rough go of it. The Express scored two in the first and two in the second before Hernandez settled in at all.
The offense got on the board in the second when Ben Gamel doubled to lead off the top of the second, and took third on a Dane Dunning wild pitch. Bligh Madris walked, and Eliezer Alfonzo singled in Gamel.
