Matt Hall’s up and down season continued on Monday, and the Bats blew the Mud Hens away at home. Hall lasted just three innings in this one, surrendering seven runs, including a pair of homers. When Jacob Robson singled home catcher Kade Scivicque in the third inning to get Toledo on the board, they were still already down six runs. Ronny Rodriguez and Scivicque each launched solo shots later on, and the Hens clawed their way back to trim the lead to just three runs, but Austin Adams melted down in the top of the ninth to ensure that a comeback wasn’t going to happen.
