Marlins Man as a regular Comerica Park, maybe even re-branded as Tigers Man?
This isn't the type of free agent signing most Detroit Tigers fans had in mind, despite the team staring directly into the face of a rebuilding season.
But apparently the franchise has reached out to Laurence Leavy, the lawyer who's famous for showing up at major sporting events, sitting in prime seats and wearing a bright orange jacket. He's been a season ticket holder with the Marlins for 25 years, but that run has come to an end.
The Marlins rejected Leavy's offer for three years' worth of tickets, including 2018, of which he priced at a discount for his willingness to pay up from and the team's lack of star power.
