DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers will have new faces in the broadcast booth in 2019, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Longtime television broadcasters Mario Impemba and Rod Allen will not return next year, the newspaper reported on Tuesday.
FOX Sports Detroit did not schedule Impemba and Allen for the final 22 games of the 2018 season after the two men got into a physical altercation Sept. 4 in Chicago.
The network did not respond to a request for comment on Tuesday's report. The two broadcasters have not commented publicly since the incident.
