DETROIT -- During his brief mid-summer resurgence, Anibal Sanchez seemed to have vanquished the long ball.
Now the home runs are back and so are Sanchez's struggles.
Five days after giving up five home runs in three innings, Sanchez allowed two more in the Detroit Tigers' 9-4 loss to the Minnesota Twins Friday night at Comerica Park.
As is often the case with Sanchez, the rest of the start had plenty of bright spots. Sanchez lasted six innings, didn't walk a batter and struck out six. But all five home runs came courtesy of the long ball -- a three-run shot by Eddie Rosario in the fourth and a two-run homer by Max Kepler in the fifth.
