The Tigers had a chance to get back into this one, but Trevor Bauer had other ideas when he was threatened for the first time today.
Grayson Greiner led off the sixth with a double to right-center. Jose Iglesias followed with an infield single to put two men on for Dixon Machado, who grounded into a fielder's choice that left the Tigers with runners on the corners. Victor Reyes struck out on a check swing on a ball in the dirt, and Pete Kozma struck out looking, Bauer's seventh punch out of the day.
