Live Tigers blog: Tigers offense quiet in 2nd

Matt Boyd, and the defense behind him, got out of the bottom of the second inning without allowing a hit.

Kurt Suzuki flew out to left field, before Boyd walked Max Kepler, putting a runner on with one out. Kepler was then caught stealing before Eduardo Escobar flew out to right field to end the inning. After two, there is no score.

Tigers offense quiet in 2nd

The offensive woes continued for the Tigers in the top of the second inning.

J.D. Martinez earned an eight-pitch walk to lead off the inning. Justin Upton then struck out looking before James McCann went down swinging.
