Bottom 1st: White Sox score first
Tigers starter Mike Pelfrey's first inning woes did not take a night off on Wednesday. He allowed the first two batters to reach in the bottom of the first. Tim Anderson hit an infield single before Pelfrey plunked Adam Eaton on a 2-2 pitch. Jose Abreu grounded into what might be the best looking fielder's choice of the year -- Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias made a backhanded flip out of his glove to second baseman Ian Kinsler, who caught the throw with his throwing hand and threw to first. Abreu was safe.
