Live Tigers blog: Collins belts solo HR in 7th

Tigers centerfielder Tyler Collins hit his first home run with the Tigers since May 17 to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh.

Collins swung at the first pitch from White Sox reliever Gregory Infante, who threw a 95-mph fastball.

White Sox right-handed starter Carson Fulmer struck out five and walked one in six innings. He gave up four hits and threw 95 pitches but did not come out for the seventh inning.

Collins, who was added to the 40-man roster on Monday, was 2-for-11 in his most recent stint in Detroit, but then hit a clutch homer.
