Bottom 4th: White Sox go 1-2-3
Tigers starter Mike Pelfrey set the White Sox down in order in the bottom of the fourth. Justin Morneau grounded out to second baseman Ian Kinsler to lead off the bottom of the fourth — the first time a White Sox player did not reach base to start their half of an inning. Todd Frazier followed by popping out to Nick Castellanos at third base. Tyler Saladino — in his first at-bat after replacing Brett Lawrie at second base into start the top of the fourth — wrapped up the 1-2-3 inning by grounding out to Pelfrey — who took the out unassisted at first.
