Nick Goody returned in relief for the Indians to face the heart of the Tigers' order.
Nicholas Castellanos walked to lead off the seventh. However, Miguel Cabrera grounded into a double play and setting Victor Martinez up with no one on and two outs. He popped out to shallow left field to end the seventh.
