Jake Petricka took over on the mound for Chicago, appearing to get Jacoby Jones to ground into an inning-ending double play before Jose Abreu dropped the ball at first base to extend the inning. Jones stole second base to put a man in scoring position, but Jose Iglesias popped out to end the inning.
