COMSTOCK PARK - For more than a decade, just about every time Jack Morris pitched, Lance Parrish caught.
It started in 1976 as teammates with the Montgomery Rebels in Double-A Southern League, continued through Evansville in Triple-A, in Winter Ball in Venezuela and 10 amazing seasons with the Detroit Tigers through 1986.
Morris appeared in 430 games for the Tigers from 1977-90 and Parrish routinely played in 130-plus games as his teammate from 1977-86.
The memories include Morris' no-hitter in 1984, three dominant postseason appearances later that year, including two wins in World Series, thousands of pitches, hundreds of meetings and more a few arguments.
