Kody Clemens homers as Lakeland ravages Daytona

The Bats got to Tyler Alexander for a three-run second inning to open the scoring, but it was a Hen party the rest of the way. Alexander hung in there to go 5 13 innings, and finished strong with six punchouts. Paul Voelker and Zac Houston shut down the Bats’ bats the rest of the way. Dawel Lugo started the comeback with a two-run double in the second inning. The Bats held their slim lead until the seventh, when Kade Scivicque and Pete Kozma came through with RBI extra base hits to seize the lead.
